Vandeleur Walled Garden & Visitor Centre in Kilrush will once again transform into a festive wonderland for our annual Santa Experience! Across three weekends (December 6 & 7, 13 & 14, and 20 & 21), families from West Clare and beyond are invited to wander through twinkling lights, festive displays, and a brand-new Tunnel of Light in the historic walled garden. Children can explore Santa’s Post Office in the Glasshouse, where they’ll write and decorate their letters before posting them straight to the North Pole. The highlight, of course, is a one-to-one visit with Santa Claus in his enchanting grotto. With booking slots available from 2pm – 7.30pm, the Santa Experience at Vandeleur Walled Garden in Kilrush promises festive fun and cherished memories for families across West Clare! Children’s tickets are €25 and adults’ are €10.

Step into the magic of Christmas as the Arboretum in the Vandeleur Walled Garden is transformed into a splendid display of light. Stroll along twinkling path, past glowing trees and sparkling displays that bring this little corner of the walled garden to life after dark. Perfect for families, friends, and couples, Christmas Glow in the Garden provides an enchanting atmosphere, where you can wrap up warm, take your time, and enjoy some festive sparkle.
Santa’s Post Office
In the cosy glasshouse of the Walled Garden, little ones can post their special letters straight to the North Pole! Surrounded by festive decorations and a touch of Christmas magic, children can share their wishes with Santa in the most memorable way.
