For our Christmas Open Day & Plant Sale all are welcome to come and avail of free entry into the beautifully revived Vandeleur Walled Garden from 11am - 4pm. We are also offering a discount of 20% on many plants in stock. The Head Gardener will be on hand to answer questions. A selection of Christmas trees, Christmas logs, centre pieces and wreaths all handmade by the garden staff will be available for sale. Treat yourself with delicious Christmas cakes, Christmas puddings, mince pies, apple tarts and chocolates in our Coffee Shop to complete your perfect day out. Orders for all Christmas baking will be accepted until the 11th December. Looking for the ideal Christmas gift? Our annual membership for individuals and families would be a unique gift to give this Christmas and would also support this local tourism project. Cookery & Gardening Demonstration
As part of the Aontas Adult Learning Festival, the Clare Local Development Company are hosting a Cookery and Container Garden Demonstration at the VandeleurWalledGarden from 11am to 1pm. The event will be broadcast by Radio Corca Baiscinn and attended by Madeline Taylor-Quinn, Mayor of Clare. The event is to promote adult learning in the area and to people attending can talk to tutors, learners and planners who will answer any questions they may have. The demonstrations will take place in the Vandeleur Coffee Shop. All are welcome.
