Craft Fair & Plant Sale Open Day

on Easter Sunday, 24th April from 1pm - 5pm

The Vandeleur Walled Garden & Centre, Kilrush is having a traditional Craft Fair & Plant Sale in connection with this years Spring Open Day on Easter Sunday, 24^th April from 1 pm to 5 pm. Items include Stained Glass, Jewellery, Felted Accessories, Hand-Woven Bags, Decorated Tiles, Cards, Encaustic (Wax) Art, Crochet Blankets, Painted Horseshoes & Castings, Knitted Items, Leather Collage and more.

Entry to the Craft Fair and to the Garden is free

A selection of summer bedding plants, herbs, vegetables and perennials as well as a variety of shrubs and hedging plants will be available for sale. The Walled Garden is offering a discount of 20% on many plants in stock and the head gardener will be on hand to provide information and answer any questions. Handcrafted garden accessories and bags of decorative bark mulch and potting compost are also available.

Visitors to the Craft Fair and to the Garden can treat themselves to a selection of home-made treats in the Vandeleur coffee shop and patio cafe.

Christmas Open Day at the Vandeleur Walled Garden, Kilrush

Sunday 5^th December 2010 from 12pm – 4pm

The Vandeleur Walled Garden, Kilrush is holding the annual Christmas Open Day on Sunday 5^th December between 12pm – 4pm.  All are welcome to come and avail of free entry into this beautifully restored walled garden. The Walled Garden is also offering a discount of 20% off plant sales and 20% off selected gift shop items. The Head Gardener will be on hand to answer any queries.

A selection of Christmas Trees, Christmas Wreaths, Christmas Logs, Window Boxes, Bird Feeders, Benches, Patio Stands & Plant boxes along with a variety of plants will be available for sale.  All items are handcrafted by staff in the Vandeleur Walled Garden.

The Vandeleur Coffee Shop will have a selection of homemade baking such as Christmas Cakes, Christmas Puddings, Mince Pies, Apple Tarts and Chocolates for purchase on the day. Orders will also be taken for Christmas cakes, mince pies etc.

The Walled Garden is offering a massive discount of 40% on many plants in stock and the head gardener will be on hand to provide information and answer any questions. We also supply bags of decorative bark mulch and potting compost.

A selection of Window Boxes, Bird Houses, Bird Feeders, and other garden accessories, all handcrafted by staff at the Vandeleur Walled Garden & Centre, will also be available for sale. Orders can be taken on the day.

Our Coffee shop offers homemade scones a variety of cakes and sweet treats on the open days.

Community Celebration Day

Join us to recognize the work of your local Community Services Projects in the Clare area! Cllr. Christy Curtin, Mayor of Clare will officially open the event @ 11am

Clare Community Services Programmes will showcase their services from 11am - 7.30pm with displays in the deValera Public Library, Harmony Row, Ennis.  Members of each project will be present to answer questions.
